Our Mission Statement

Platte Health Center/Avera Health, through dedicated people who serve in its hospital, nursing home, medical clinic, and other programs, provides the setting in which quality services are made available.

This facility, provides primary care services, long term care, some specialized services, and assists in health education, rehabilitation and overall wellness to the people in and around Platte, appropriate to the needs of this rural community consistent with manpower and equipment.

This facility recognizes its continued responsibility to provide needed health care services through its employees to residents of this service area regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sex or ability to pay.

Philosophy

We believe the patient/resident has a right to live. To live and die with the dignity, respect and confidential treatment that is important in caring for human life.
